YOU CAN FIND US in the Main Exhibit Hall, Booth 754 (middle back by the concession stand) to introduce our online daily somatic meditation and writing practice (in its fourth year) with new books by Guy Zimmerman, Andrew Nicholls, Murray Mednick, Bill Ratner and three years of Slow Lightning Lit Anthologies: I. Impractical Poetry, II. Astonished Poetry, and III. Folio Edition: SLANT.

Our Table Readings and Author Signings are scheduled at the Booth: Thursday Noon:SLANT Anthology, Folio Edition; Friday: 11am; AS MAN IS TO GOD, A Poem On the Making of Werner Herzog’s, FITZCARRALDO by Andrew Nicholls; Friday 1pm: SLANT Anthology, Folio Edition; Saturday 11am, MAMMAL ONE by Guy Zimmerman.

Slow Lightning Lit began meeting daily on January 12, 2021 after the Insurrection at the Capitol shook the soul of American Democracy. We are still quivering, still meditating together, still in search of whimsy and the miraculous, in our morning drop-in community writing sessions.

In celebration of our first time at AWP we will be giving a free book to every 12th person who signs our guest registry. Come by and introduce yourself.
